Instructions for setting up email on our new server


We have upgraded every component of our hosting services, including the email server! Here are the simple instructions to migrate your existing email accounts to this new format:

OUTLOOK EXPRESS:





  • From the menu options at the top of the Outlook Express window, click TOOLS.

  • Select ACCOUNTS.



  • For each of your accounts, double-click on the account name and follow this procedure:



  1. Click SERVERS.

  2. Type in mail.domain.com, replacing "domain.com" with your web address.

    For example, if your website is www.basketball.com, type in mail.basketball.com

  3. Type in the same thing you typed above, mail.domain.com.

  4. Type in your email address.

  5. UN-check the box labeled "My server required authentication".

    IMPORTANT: ALSO Do NOT check "Log on using Secure Password Authentication"!

  6. Click OK to save your settings and return the to list of email accounts.
